My 2018 New Year’s Resolution was to sew at least one wearable garment per month. I sewed so many things and felt inspired to make more! Dresses, blouses, jumpsuits, jackets…. I love working with vintage patterns, specifically from the 1970s, as well as currently released ones. I buy most of my fabric in Midtown Manhattan, and I am sure to get a textile souvenir in every country I visit (that yellow floral cotton is from Tomato in Tokyo). The process and the outcome of sewing are deeply satisfying. Here are some of my more recent creations. There will be more to come in the blog.
